Rental Terms
Reservations must be made through our website rent.martynazgruzji.pl and completed with its confirmation. After making a reservation, you will receive an email with the reservation number and order details.
A 15% prepayment made within 3 days from the moment of online reservation confirmation serves as a guarantee of the booking. All necessary details are included in the confirmation email. Once we receive confirmation of the prepayment (by email), we will send you the vehicle pickup details and the reservation will be fully confirmed.- Passport or ID card
- Valid driving license of the appropriate category (we strongly recommend having an International Driving Permit)
- City/Highway – permitted only on paved roads
- Easy Offroad / Light Offroad – permitted on all gravel roads except the road to Omalo (Tusheti)
- Offroad – permitted on all official roads in Georgia
- Car rental
- Unlimited mileage and additional drivers
- Full AC & OC insurance (see details in the “Insurance” section)
- Additional equipment (selected during the booking process)
Our car road assistance service provides support for vehicle-related issues during the rental period, including but not limited to flat tires, battery failure, mechanical breakdowns, and lockouts.
Free Assistance:
If the issue is not the fault of the car renter, road assistance will be provided at no additional cost.
This includes:
Mechanical or electrical failures due to normal wear and tear.
Issues caused by external factors (e.g. vandalism, theft, collisions caused by another driver, or weather-related damage such as flooding or fallen tree branches).
Manufacturer defects or pre-existing vehicle conditions.
Chargeable Assistance
If the issue arises due to gross negligence by the renter, a fee of €150 will be charged for road assistance. Gross negligence includes, but is not limited to:
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Using improper fuel or fluids in the vehicle.
Ignoring warning lights or vehicle alerts leading to damage.
Operating the vehicle in prohibited or hazardous conditions (e.g., off-road driving unless permitted).
Failure to secure the vehicle, resulting in damage or theft.
Overloading the vehicle beyond its specified capacity, causing mechanical damage.
Allowing an unauthorized driver to operate the vehicle, leading to damage or an incident.
Violation of vehicle operation rules.
Tires damaged during driving are not considered as an accidental damage by any insurance company in Georgia. Payment for the City / Highway Cars tires are charged 80 EUR to 200 EURO each tire.
In case of losing vehicle keys payment for the key is 100 EUR
Any damage or loss made to the driver, passengers or to any property inside the vehicle during an accident or rental period is not covered by insurance and not refundable by any party. (According to the Georgian legislation it must be covered by your travel insurance during the entry to Georgia)

INSURANCE: 1. Unlimited miles, drivers, no deposit

Zero Excess in any accident, theft or any other damage. 3. Damage caused by offroad driving and self damage - not included: a) river crossing damage
b) If at drop off the car is too dirty to check condition before/after rent (including verification of scratches & dents), car wash is covered by the customer
c) tire damage is not included, cost of tire may be from 80 to 200 euro depends on a car
d)In case of an insured event, you must immediately notify the rental agent and receive an infringement notice (police document), except as otherwise agreed with the agent. Failure to fulfill these conditions will cancel the insurance issued for the vehicle and make you fully responsible.
e)driving under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances will cancel the insurance issued for the vehicle and make you fully responsible.
Crossing the Georgian border with a rental car is currently possible only to Armenia. The cost of a notarized authorization is 90 EUR. It requires sending us a scan of the main driver's passport at least 5 business days before the rental and purchasing local insurance at the Armenian border.
