Before your booking please read “terms and conditions” stated below and answers to frequently asked questions. If in doubt, contact me directly.
The booking is made through the website rent.martynazgruzja.pl and is considered successful after receiving confirmation. After making a booking, you will receive an email with the booking number and order details.
Booking is guaranteed by a 10% deposit paid within 3 days from the date of booking confirmation in the online system. Prepayment can be made to our bank account or through REVOLUT (@piotrzgruzji). Detailed information can be found in the booking confirmation email.
The persons organizing the delivery of the vehicles are:
Vakho +995 579230317 and Mirza +995597207799. One day before your arrival we will contact you on Whatsapp to set the meeting details.
Cars belong to the given city. After receiving the car in Tbilisi, you can return it again to Tbilisi for free. Similarly in Kutaisi. Returning the car in a city other than the city of rental is possible by prior arrangement and after paying a fee in the amount depending on the distance. Replacing Kutaisi and Tbilisi costs 80 euros.
Car delivery to any address in Tbilisi and Kutaisi is FREE. We deliver it to your hotel or any other choosen adress.
Airport delivery is 24 euro (another 24 euro for drop off). Kutaisi airport is located 20 km from the city center.
When picking up a car and signing the contract, you must present two documents:
+ a valid passport or identity card
+ a driving license of the appropriate category (your local driving license is enough)
The minimum age of the driver is 21 years, the maximum is 70 years.
There is no limit on the number of drivers. Anyone who has a driver’s license and meets the age requirements can drive a car, provided that there is a tenant in the car.
Booking changes are free of charge and are possible until the car is received.
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to a month before the start of the rental. After this period, cancellation of the reservation = confiscation of 10% of the advance payment.
If the cancellation is due to flight cancellation or similar unforeseen circumstances = 10% deposit will be returned to your bank account within 7 days.
The Lessee and other drivers are obliged to present a valid driver’s license when signing the contract and to have this document with them when driving the vehicle.
It is not necessary to have an international driver’s license.

If you find any technical malfunctions of the car, you should immediately transfer these comments to the rental service. If this is not done, it will not be possible to
determine whether the car was handed over in a non-perfect condition or whether defects arose during the period of the rental agreement.
In the event of a breakdown, technical failure or other problem with the car, you should immediately report it to the rental company (the number is indicated in the contract). If the current repair is not possible, we will provide you with a replacement car. I reserve the right to resolve the issue within 24 hours.
In the event of an accident, it is necessary to fulfill the formalities specified in the contract (call the police and report the damage to the Insurer) and keep all documents (including the printout from the breathalyzer).
Attention! Georgia is a Caucasian country, and on European and American car models, “check engine”, “traction control” and other indicators often light up. This is not a cause for concern. Cars undergo a detailed technical inspection before each rental. If the indicator lights up during the rental, you need to check the oil and water levels and inspect the car.
SUVs are adapted to all roads and off-roads of the Caucasus. But remember that the further you drive off-road, the more time it will take to help you in case of problems or malfunctions.
Off-road routes in Ushguli and Tusheti (Omalo) are too difficult for a car of a category other than off-road. Violation of this rule entails the responsibility of the Lessee for mechanical failures, damage to the motor and gearbox.
Payment is made upon receipt of the car and signing the contract.
You need to pay the person who will provide you with a car.
We accept cash in euros. If you wish, you can also pay in dollars and in local currency in lari (according to the euro exchange rate in TBC Bank in Tbilisi on the given day).
In 2020, we will also launch a 10% advance payment system to guarantee bookings and an electronic payment system.

Complete Vehicle Insurance – In case of an accident that was your fault.
Complete Vehicle Insurance – In case of damage by any third party

Complete Insurance – Damage to a third party vehicle (no matter whose fault the accident is), up to $50,000
Complete Insurance – All accessories (mirrors, glass, etc.)
Zero Excess in any accident, theft or any other damage.
*Tyres damaged during off-road driving are not considered accidental damage by any insurance company in Georgia. The cost for off-road tyres vary, but will be around 95 EUR.
The price does NOT include
+ the cost of fuel (the fuel level upon receipt is specified in the contract and the car must be returned with the same level)
+ insurance of the driver and passengers against accidents and medical expenses
+ insurance, which must be purchased at the border with Azerbaijan and Armenia
+ fines – the system of fines in Georgia is electronic. A few minutes after the photoradar detects the violation, the vehicle owner will receive an SMS with the details of the violation, date, time, place and amount of the fine.average fine is 50 GEL
+ parking fee + car wash (if car will be returned dirty we will charge you 50 gel)
For most of the cars we do not require any deposite. We trust you.
The rental price includes civil liability insurance (CL). Third party liability insurance covers damages up to $10,000.
Autocasco insurance (AC) covers 100% of the value of the car. The renter is not required to make a “own contribution” in the event of damage to the vehicle.
The condition for AC action is: calling the police and having a police report on the incident + claiming damages to the Insurer + immediately informing the person responsible for your booking.
The insurance does not cover TIRE DAMAGE. Tire insurance is not possible in Georgia. The cost of buying a tire depends on the car model: from 55 to 95 euros.
To cross the border in a rented car, you must present at the border a notarized personal power of attorney issued by the owner of the vehicle (me).
The cost of issuing a power of attorney is 59 euros / power of attorney.
To issue a notarial document, you must at least 2 weeks before the date of receipt ofthe car.
The rental period is a full day. This means that the car remains at your disposal for a full 24 hours. If you rent a car at 8:00, you must return it by 7:59. If the daily rental period is exceeded, a fee for the next day will be charged.
Early return of the car is possible. “Martina z Gruzji LTD” does not refund the amount of rent for unused rental days.
Rental extensions are possible, but subject to vehicle availability.
The return of the car in another place is possible, but this is associated with an additional fee.
Replacement of Tbilisi and Kutaisi costs 80 euros (each way).
